ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hi! I'm Christy Johnson, a professional photographer located in Wake Forest, NC. I'm a wife & mom, bookworm, and recent pickleball addict.
Recently, after beating leukemia, turning 50, and feeling a little invisible in a world that doesn't seem to value middle-aged women, I dove deep into self-compassion and acceptance, learning to love this strong, resilient body of mine, and growing my confidence and self-worth along the way. I learned that I have so much value to give the world at this age, and so do you!
No matter the path that brought you here, you can probably relate. We don't get to our 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond without going through some things! But we wear our battle scars proudly. And we deserve to be photographed. Valued. And celebrated.
I'm all about creating a relaxed yet refined boudoir photography experience for you, crafting beautiful photos that'll always bring you right back to this moment...a time when you pressed pause on all the noise and did something just for you.

Located in the heart of Wake Forest, just a few miles north of Raleigh, our cozy boutique studio is where all the photography magic happens! Here we have everything we need for beautiful, light-filled portrait and boudoir photoshoots, including space for hair and makeup, lots of fun wardrobe and accessories options for you, as well as the simple backdrops and props you see in my work. You can also check out prints, albums, framing options, and other artwork to get ideas on how you'd like to display your finished photos. Come be pampered for a morning, and leave feeling on top of the world!

ONE
We'll chat before your session to discuss all the details, including wardrobe ideas and your vision for your photos. I'll answer all your questions so you feel prepared, relaxed, and ready!
TWO
We'll have a fun and relaxed experience together! Pamper yourself with an optional hair and makeup add-on, and then I'll guide you head to toe into flattering poses so you'll feel confident and at ease.
THREE
Your experience culminates in beautiful, custom artwork that serves as a daily reminder of just how beautiful and worthy you are, today and every day.

Session Retainer Fee | 395
Includes:
- access to client closet (dresses, robes, accessories, etc)
- pre-session consultation call to plan the details
-professional hair & makeup
- up to 2-hour private photo session in studio
- posing guidance from head to toe throughout session
- professional, natural retouching of images
- photo reveal ordering appointment at the studio
Images not included in the experience.
A la carte images begin at $150 with an $800 minimum purchase.
Collections begin at $995. Most clients spend $1-2k.
